What are cookies and similar technologies?

A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a website and sent back to the site on subsequent requests. The local storage area offered by browsers serves a similar function; the difference is that the data stays in the browser and is never sent to the server with any request. This policy covers both.

What data do we store on this site?

apvhemisan.com stores a single record in your browser: your cookie preferences. This record is stored under the name “apv-consent” in your browser’s local storage and contains only three pieces of information — the version of the record, the date on which you gave your preference, and your choice for each category. The record carries no identifying information, is not sent to our servers, and cannot be used to track you across other sites.

If you delete this record or clear your browser’s site data, the preference banner will be shown again on your next visit.

There are currently no cookies or third-party measurement scripts running on the site for analytics or marketing purposes. The categories below are defined so that, should such a tool be introduced in future, your consent can be obtained in advance and separately for each category; the relevant code is never loaded unless you give consent.

How can you change your preferences?

Non-essential categories are switched off by default; if you do nothing, only the functions required for the site to work are used. You can revise your choice at any time using the “Customise preferences” button at the end of this page. The button deletes your stored preference and reopens the preference banner.

You can also block or delete cookies and site data entirely from your browser settings. If essential records are blocked, your preferences cannot be remembered and the banner will be shown again on every visit.

Your rights and how to apply

Your rights under Article 11 of Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, and the application procedure for exercising them, are explained in detail in the Personal Data Protection Notice. You may submit your applications in writing to the Company’s registered commercial address, or send them to hemisan@apvhemisan.com with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature.

Changes to this policy

This policy is updated whenever the technologies used on the site change. Where a change affects your stored preferences, your recorded consent is treated as invalid and the preference banner is shown again so that your choice can be obtained afresh.
