- Rotary Strainer: Pre-Clarification Safety Filter: The rotary strainer is considered a safety filter as it is used to remove larger solids from the processing fluid before the centrifugal clarification step begins. The strainer consists of a set of moving rotary brushes in a cylindrical body and a filtering basket where accumulated solids are collected and removed.
